Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota L.) forms seed cases that resemble, to me, stylized hot air balloons. Here I have combined an image of a maturing lacy flower with ones of butterflies and printed them on my own thin handmade kozo paper while simultaneously adhering to a heavier cotton paper.
