The contour lines and multiple colors of polypore mushrooms provided the inspiration for this print, one of series that vary in colors and textures.

In this making this print, I first printed one solar plate image onto a cotton rag paper, on followed by simultaneously overprinting and adhering to it a second image on thin handmade gampi paper in the chine collé process. The translucence of the golden gampi reveals, but mutes the color of the underlying image. Edition of 4.
