Editioned Prints > Abstracts

I tried to capture the soft tones and shadows of the New Hampshire on a warm summer afternoon in this print.

The print was made from printed two textured copper plates, each inked with different color inks. The plates were first roughened by grinding them with carborundum grit and then burnishing a pattern into them. I learned this non-chemical method for preparing copper aquatint plates from Anita Hunt in a workshop at Zea Mays Printmaking Studio. Edition of 2.
