I used some of my favorite colors in this abstract representation of the contours of the land around my NH home. Depending on the viewer's mood, the paper painting can be hung with either a horizontal or vertical orientation.
Pigmented cotton pulp was sprayed through stencils onto a base sheet of kozo paper to form the image in this artwork. Overlying layers of transparent kozo mute some of the colors.
The finished piece is mounted on a white cotton rag mat of archival quality.
