Shaped Paper
Wall sculpture composed of multiple "mountains" formed from kozo amate (bark paper) and sewn together with nylon thread (not visible). Some of the mountains were colored by dyeing the kozo fibers themselves; others, by dyeing the completed individual pieces.
The completed assemblage is mounted, by sewing, onto wooden strips that provide the support for hanging the piece.
